Fort Atkinson Preschool and Childcare offers before and after school care for children ages 5-10 as well as all day school age care during no school days and during the summer.
Before school care can begin as early as 6:30 am. The school bus typically arrives by 6:45 am. After school care begins at 3:30 pm and runs through 5:30 pm. Fort Atkinson Preschool and Childcare follows the Fort Atkinson School District calendar regarding early release and no-school day care. On these days half day (12-5:30 pm) or full day (6:30 am-5:30 pm) care is available.
Admission is on a first come, first served basis. Priority consideration is given to those children who will attend regularly, five days a week and to children who already have siblings enrolled.
If enrollment is full, you may place your child on a waiting list. You will be notified if any openings occur. Desire for admission and enrollment beyond an eight-week waiting period must be updated at that time.
All required registration and enrollment forms must be completed and submitted, and the enrollment fee paid in order to be officially registered.
Upon enrollment you will receive a parent orientation reviewing policies and expectations. Children and parents are required to visit the center before enrolling.
Transportation (via school bus) to school from the center and/or from school to the center is fee based. Parents contract directly with Double Three Transportation in Fort Atkinson for this service. Information on cost for busing can be obtained by calling the bus company at (920) 563-3652.
