Fort Atkinson Preschool and Childcare is a secular, non-profit, self-supporting facility established in 1969 to provide services to preschool children. Since then it has progressed to provide additional services to school age children, including before and after school programs and a full day summer program. We also partner with the Fort Atkinson School District to provide collaborative 4K services. 
Fort Atkinson Preschool and Childcare does not discriminate based on age, race, color, sex, handicap, religion or national origin. The school is licensed by the State of Wisconsin Department of Children and Families to accommodate 75 children. As such, Fort Atkinson Preschool and Childcare is mandated by law to follow state licensing codes and regulations. Fort Atkinson Preschool and Childcare has achieved the highest rating- 5 Stars- by YoungStar Wisconsin. YoungStar rates centers based upon:

Fort Atkinson Preschool and Childcare utilizes Creative Curriculum, a play-based, developmentally appropriate, child-oriented curriculum. This curriculum is based on learning through play and encourages respect for each child as an individual, individual responsibility of each child toward him/herself, his/her peers and adults, independence, self-reliance and a positive self-concept and direct involvement in the learning process emphasizing creative and spontaneous problem solving.
Fort Atkinson Preschool and Childcare is accredited by the National Accreditation Commission for Early Care and Education Programs.
